Over the next few weeks, Contact Contact and MichiganMeida.net will be releasing several new email marketing features. These new features are based on feedback from our partners and customers.

If your are using our Joomla Mass mail component created free for the Joomla community. We are going to enhance our component to handle many new features that are coming from Constantcontact.com

View as a Web Page
The Constant Contact emails your clients send out will automatically include a link to a web version of the email at the top of each message. This ensures that the entire message will be read and images will be seen. Many email images are either blocked or don't render properly in HTML. Providing this link allows readers to view the message in their web browser.

Joomla Auto responder built into our Joomla News letter module
When someone is added to your clients' contact list through MichiganMedia.net mass emailing component, they can now automatically receive a series of up to 5 emails following their signup. This is a good way to make a strong first impression with new sign ups -- instead of waiting until the next campaign, the first email will be sent after one day. This is a beta release of our new auto responder, with many more enhancements to come.

Anyone signed up to our news letters will get notified when these changes are made. We look forward to providing you the best mass mailing solution for Jooomla.

How Important is XML-RPC for Azrul.com Joomla blogging component

Have you installed Azrul.com MyBlog Joomla blogging softare and everything looked great except whenever you hit save you got this error in the administration section that said :

Settings saved.Note:x-m-l RPC extension in PHP is disabled.Ping Technorati set to 0

What does this mean to you?
This means that when you write a Joomla blog post and you click on "save" and publish it,  that the largest blog search engine in the world is not notifed of your writings.   Azrul.com wrote its blog component to work with a technology called xml-rpc but he is using the PHP version of xml-rpc.   In  order for Azrul.com blog software to work correctly your Joomla host company must support this feature in PHP.

Why should I be worried bout this?
When you post a story using Azruls.com Myblog software a fancy little piece of code called xml is sent to the largest blog search engine in the world.     This small piece of information contains information about what you wrote.     If the blogging community happens all to be writing or talking about a similar topic this could earn you some huge Joomla SEO brownie points.   One good written story that catches the eye of the blogging community could earn you hundreds of 1 way inbound links that are all relivent and organic.     Google loves to see way links to your site.       So if your blogging with Azruls.com blogging software and you get the xml error, I suggest you do whatever you can to get your Joomla Hosting company to fix the problem.

Move to our servers free and we will do all the work.
If your Joomla Hosting company does not want to help I suggest before you write another blog post that you move to a hosting company that supports phpxml-rpc.     MichiganMedia.net will move your Joomla site over to our servers at no cost and make sure your Joomla blogging software is working correctly.
